Easy setup, good speeds, reliable connection.
Shockingly bad customer service, terrible communication, completely disorganised.
I've been using bulldog for around 2 1/2 years, their customer service has always been terrible, but as I rarely had to call them, I was happy with a decent priced 8Meg line until I noticed that their prices had dropped from £29.50 to £19.50. After calling them (an experience in itself) I decided to upgrade to a 16Mb line for the lower price of £24 - "this may take up to 10 working days sir" fine.
So I waited.....and waited... 2 months in total and several phone calls later no one knew I'd even placed the order, then later found out that they weren't able to upgrade due to technical reasons! Fine, give me your new price on the 8mb line, "no problems sir" this never happened, and after a final call was told transfer to cancellations where they would cancel and then sign me up again with the new price. another month later I tried to make an outgoing call from my home phone to hear a messages that outgoing calls weren't possible.
Another call to bulldog and found out they had cancelled my account completely and I had to call them back and join again with a new phone number!!! HOW CAN I CALL - YOU'VE KILLED MY PHONE LINE! "sorry sir, that's the best we can do".
After being amazed at their shockingly bad service, I decided to change to BT and Be internet - £18/month for a 24Mb line.
Bulldog are so bad - even after 1 1/2 months of apparently being cancelled (and not paying bills) I still receive incoming calls and my 8Mb line still works.....all for free! they aren't even capable of closing an account properly.
