General Comments

I bought a brand-new motorbike from Dobles and had it delivered. Unfortunately, despite me ringing the week before delivery to check that everything was in order, the bike was delivered without a tax disk. Dobles claimed they hadn't received my insurance cover note and therefore hadn't taxed the bike. I was quite annoyed since I had rung up especially to check that they'd got all the paperwork in order and had been told they had. After a great many phone calls to Dobles and my insurance firm, a lot of faxing, claims of non-received faxes and quite a lot of general unhelpfulness from Dobles, I finally rang the DVLA - only to discover that my bike had in fact been taxed 10 days previous to its delivery! Result is, I have a bike I can't ride sitting in the garage and am still waiting for the tax disk to arrive in the post. I won't be buying a bike from Dobles again.
