Adjustable rear strap; good visibility; solid construction; good grille.
lack of proper adjustability with the inner padding, cloth covering becomes loose very quickly
The purist helmet provides brand name safety and good construction which should be considered by any cricketer wishing to buy a new helmet. The helmet comes in limited colours, but this applies to most helmets on the market, so should not be criticised too much.
The helmet is reasonably light, but suffers from some poor weight distribution, which makes the helmet tip forwards while wearing it. This could be adjusted if the inner pads were more flexible, but unfortunately the pads are glued in place and are not overly movable. however the bonus og having an adjustable head strap means that you can simply tighten the helmet into place, but watch out for headaches afterwards!
Overall this is a good helmet, especially considering the price. It provides the safety and security required of this type of cricket equipment at an affordable price, and is a good choice for those who are in the market for a new helmet.
