General Comments

Jacobs Creek appear to be a average for their wines, but as they say "You know what you are getting" on certain brands. Grenache and Shiraz are a good blend, and they can be enjoyed with or without food

I prefer the Shiraz Cabernet combination, it appears (I could be very wrong!) that Cabernet is able to pull out more spiciness from the Shiraz than Grenache.
