Good Points

The massage I received was the best I've had - I do understand however that the staff member was a temp so can only speak as I find.


Bad Points

I spent the day as a spa guest & the whole day was a farce from beginning to end! Firstly the credit card machine wasn't working (these things happen), but when they did manage to put my card through, they overcharged me & weren't able to put a refund through as there was no manager on duty.

They were short staffed so there wasn't anyone to show us around & explain the procedures. Lunch was taken in the public bar, with the England rugby match on the large screen, so hardly the relaxing time I had anticipated.
Despite being told to take a seat at the correct time, the table had no table cloth nor condiments.
Lunch took 45 minutes to arrive & that was only because we hounded the staff for it!
Drinks again were served after many requests by the most miserable looking person ever put on this earth - hardly service with a smile!
When the food did arrive, it was awful - better food would be served in a school dining hall!
The staff I dealt with (when I could find them) weren't particularly helpful, which I think was mainly due to the lack of any managerial presence.
There was no lifeguard visible at the pool side.
There is only 1 hour of adult only swim time so if you don't like kids 'bombing' in the pool, you'd best stay away.

At the end of the day, some of the staff just packed up & left without any acknowledgment of any customers - rather rude I thought!


General Comments

Despite the treatment being wonderful, a larger proportion of my day was spent being aggravated by the lack of service etc. I certainly would never recommend this spa as a relaxing venue.
