Good Points

Very accurate, reliable, fully adjustable rear sites, very soft and crips trigger.

Bad Points

Bulky grips, Muzzle heavy - you need strong hands to hold it steady.

General Comments

I got my IZH-46M around 1 week back and my first reaction, when i opened the box was "Ohh boy thats a huge pistol". Yes the pistol is huge and its muzzle heavy. when you just pick up the pistol you don't feel that much weight but when you are aiming and trying to make it steady you do find it little difficult. The bottom line is you need strong hands to hold this gun straight.

The barrel has a beautiful blue metallic finish.

Sights:
The front sight is fixed and the rear site is fully adjustable with proper screws which say up or down and windage adjustment. The screws have ticks hence it becomes very easy to adjust.

Grips:
The grips are little bulky, they are ok for my hands but if you have small hands then you have to either sand it or file it in order to make it of proper size.

Trigger:
The trigger is extremly soft, initially you will not even notice when the gun went off but yes eventually you will know the small portion of pull just before it breaks. When you lightly pull the trigger it will reach that point where exactly it breaks and you will know when to apply that right amount of pressure. However this will come out of experience when you shoot more and more. The trigger can be adjusted for its position and pull weight.

Muzzle: The muzzle is very nicely rifled giving high accuracy.

Cocking lever: The lever needs to be pushed all the way in the front and then cocked. it takes around 15 pounds to cock it. Once the gun is cocked, put a pellet and push the bolt down until it locks and its ready to fire.

The gun is very accurate just out of the box, initially i shot around 5 shots and found that the are hitting 2 inches below and around 1 inch to the left. i gave one tick down and one tick left and it was little ok, was still hitting around 1/2 inch to the left. I gave one more tick and bingo !! It was on bulls eye. I fired a good number of pellets and got a very tight group with around 12 bullseyes at 25 yards.
I was surprised with the accuracy it delivers right out of the box.

All in all a very good and accurate gun at a very low price. Shoots great just out of the box, easy to operate and adjust, good value for money.
