I went into my local branch to open a saving accounts for my two children - It was a very easy and straightforward process. I had telephoned earlier, so I knew what identification to bring along. No problems - half an hour later two accounts opened! I would much rather deal with people face to face. I also got some very good advice about savings etc.
Bad Points
Only that I need to go back into the branch to collect the free gifts, as they only had one set available.
General Comments
Overall, opening a Halifax Save4 it Children's Saving Account was a very easy process - straightforward and uncomplicated - Very friendly staff who knew what they were talking about.
