Good Points

Nice aircraft, friendly service, good food and champagne, excellent lounge


Bad Points

European short-haul economy buy-on-board, Danish cabin crew in Europe.


General Comments

I am a frequent flyer based in Oslo, Norway. SAS is thus an obvious choice (sometimes the only one...) I find their service on long-haul flights excellent, particularly in Business class, where they now offer fully reclining sleeper seats on all aircraft and an excellent choice of IFE (even plenty of episodes of my favourite TV series Midsomer Murders). Food is great, service very attentive. Within Europe, however, their Business class is still OK, but the economy product offered is dreadful. No frills. No food, little service. And although this may sound biased as I am from Norway, the Norwegian and Swedish cabin crews seem to be a lot friendlier and happier in their jobs than their Danish colleagues. I would therefore recommend SAS' intercontinental flights to passengers in all classes - in Europe, choose business or premium economy - or another airline...
