The call back service - enter your number on their web page and it instantly calls you back; you're still on hold forever, but at least they're paying!
Terrible.
I had a large foreign currency cheque, I asked how to cash it, they sent me a Foreign Currency Acceptance Form and instructed I send it to Prescott Street in London. Weeks later I call, as the money has not entered my account. Abbey National say I should have sent it to Glasgow, therefore it is lost. They make no attempt to contact London to find it, they insisted I have the cheque stopped and start again. I incur costs for phoning the foreign country, and I am charged for stopping the cheque, lost interest and unable to pay bills.
Can anybody suggest a real Business Bank who know what they are doing with their bank accounts?
