The display cannot be seen in any light.
The sound is limited and drowned by any other sound source.
An internal battery is needed as the mag mount is useless on todays plastic dashes.

General Comments
My Talex purchase has been a disaster - inaccurate and a re-pack, although bought as a new unit. This arrived in a tatty box and when a "replacement" unit was supplied they merely put the original in yet another tatty box and returned to me. They do NOT reply to E-mails. This is the maker! Fails to detect correctly and gives many false alerts. Speed statements are erratic and could land one in trouble.

Currently awaiting a returns number, but I'm 100% sure they will not supply after my previous experience.
