Good Points

A great base unit for a travel system where carrycot, car seat and pushchair all interchange on the same frame. Frame is sturdy, and after 8 months continuous use with all parts of the travel system, it shows no signs of wear and tear. Raincover is very well made and easy to drop up and down with changing weather. Pop out parasol spars are great for easy movement of the parasol in changing light. "Window" in the hood lets you see your child, even when the hood is fully up.

Bad Points

Fully assembled with the seat unit, the whole pushchair is pretty heavy when having to lift in and out of a car boot with any "lip". Crossbar design which allows the frame to fold width-wise makes the shopping basket almost unusable. Pushchair cannot fold in one piece with seat unit on rear facing; it must be taken apart.

General Comments

The Bebe Confort Loola Umbrella Stroller is a great all round pushchair, especially if the comfort of your child is your first concern. Not really one to choose if your lifestyle means you mostly use public transport (very difficult, if not impossible, to carry a small child and the folded pram on-board a train or bus without help, as the complete Loola unit is quite heavy). In addition, the shopping basket is not able to hold much because of the crossbar, so it's not for someone who has to transport groceries in the pram. More suitable for long walks and trips starting and ending in a car. Good compact fold for width, and free standing, so easily stored in the house. Clip on changing bag a good idea, but not great with the rear facing pushchair or carry cot. Forms the basis of a great travel system. May seem expensive to buy all the parts, but well worth it for a flexible and long life travel system.

Must disagree with review that stated Loola cannot fold down in one piece when in rear facing position, I do it every day!!
