Beautiful Graphics
Great atmospheric sounds
Good interesting storyline
View sometimes restrictive.
First of all I HATE NINTENDO. It's my personal view. I always have and always will. So you must understand how hard it is for me to say that this is one of the best, if not THE BEST game I have played. Everything is perfect for the game. The graphics are not the best I have seen, a little blocky and pointy but it works very well with the game. The land fantastic scape changes colour with the time of day and night. Many a time I would stay outside the castle just to watch the landscape gradually change colour. The animation of Links is amazing. Running, jumping, fighting everything looks great and there is no waiting until a natural break in Links's animation before he changes his action. You press jump, and he jumps right away. The contols to move Links, are at first, a little confusing will soon become instinctive especially with the help of the tutorials. You will be performing jumps off boxes doing a landing roll so you face the opposite way ready with your shield up and sword out in no time at all. This great animation is also reflected in other characters of the game who all seem to have a Japanese Pok mon charm to them in their facial expressions and movment, which gives the game a little cuteness.
What makes this game so enjoyable is the story line. Many games, especially RPG's, have a story line where you are always after 1 thing and all through the game and have close encounters with your enermy you start to lose interest after the 3rd way they just got away. However in Zelda: Ocarina of Time, you are always doing something different of have 2 or 3 side missions to do at the same time. If I remember correctly the last half of the game is actually trying to fix problems caused by your time traveling.
However to complete this you must leave your home, travel through miles of land into mountains, lakes, volcanoes, underground and castles not to mention through time. You will meet new creatures, the Gorgons, Thieves, Fairies and witches to name a few. You will also have to grow up as some places you cant go when you are small and vice versa.
My writing can not do this game any justice. If you like RPG this game is a 100% must, even if you are a Nintendo hater like me. I liked this game so much I bought a 2nd hand Nintendo just play this game.
