Good Points

It's very versatile in both classical and jazz music. Their appearance overall is better then most trumpets if taken care of properly. As for their tone quality it depends on the year, bore, and the size of the bell but that if all personal preference. To me they sound great.

Bad Points

If your looking for a hard core trumpet for range, or strictly jazz or classical you might want to look for a trumpet that is built for what you want to do. A standard Bach might not meet all of these requirements.

General Comments

Its been my personal belief that the player defines the trumpet he/she plays, not the other way around. You can give the best trumpet in the world to someone who's not very good and guess what! They'll sound the same. But if your looking for a trumpet that will react just as well as you can play it you can't s do much better then a Bach Strad.
