General Comments

I bought a new delivery mileage Sorrento 2.5D XE 14/07/07 from Retford Kia GK group. It has been back to both the sales and the service department (the ford garage down the road) 7 times (3 to sales, to get the work done!, and 4 to service) now for repairs to the power steering which "failed" on the day of collection. It has had an electrical part for the steering? A new power steering pump, and now a new steering rack. There was also a small scratch on the tailgate, which the sale team promised would be removed without me ever knowing it was there. It is now again at Kia Retford, as the tailgate was partially resprayed in a different colour to the rest of the car, and the Sorrento badge was left on, but masked up so now you can see the different colour paint showing in the gaps of the badge, this I find totally unprofessional, it now has to be resprayed again (by some local car painter, and not Kia's own facilities!), every time the car has been in I have had to clean out the dirt and give it a wash to remove the grease from the bodywork, This has been my tenth new car purchase in a row and I have never been messed around, or given such shoddy workmanship like I have received from Kia, you live and learn! I do not know now when I will be getting my car back, which will now feel like a second hand car due to all the paintwork, but I hope this time the work will be correct.

    if this was me I would consult some legal expert for advice and maybe some compensation or even a new car exchange
