The food was good and service was timely.
Bad Points
The decor of the upstairs restaurant was bland and uninspired, being mostly grey walls and floor with one pink wall. I understand the refurb was expensive, but there was no evidence of anything inspired in this room.
General Comments
We ate at The New Angel in Dartmouth on Tuesday 18th September, 2007.
The table setting was haphazard - no table cloth, and the surface looked as if it could do with a clean.
Overall, having dined at the Carved Angel before it was taken over, we were disappointed with its new incarnation.
