General Comments
I own a Crosman 1008SB for target practice and going after small game. The open sights are average, and the red-dot if you get a kit with it is useless. I highly recommend buying the trigger-mount laser. Having the laser down there makes the gun much easier to sight in, and you can adjust your open sights to match it. For target shooting the heavy trigger pull is a drag but with SA available that problem is solved on the target range, unless you're going for speed.
CO2 lasts about 50 shots per 12 gram, but the first 2 or 3 are much more powerful. Overall the gun has many good qualities, with a few that good be improved. If you don't like plastic, the Zinc C40 mght be right for you. The heavy trigger pull is a pain when going afer small game, but it can be overcome. I highly recommend a trigger mount laser for improved accuaacy, and a holster also adds to the fun.
