Good Points

Screen, Operating System, Downloadable java games, 7650 specific software available, design, speakerphone, MMS and Camera.

Bad Points

large size, poor battery life, low quality camera, small (4mb) memory, very unreliable, slide loosens with use, no easy way to use a data cable.

General Comments

The Nokia 7650 is a fantastic phone to use; the screen is bright and colourful and the menu system is both easy and enjoyable to use. Call quality is above average for nokia and the handsfree speakerphone works very well.
The phone runs java applications very well and the applications designed specificaly for this phone available on the internet are fantastic. The phone syncs well with a PC over infrared or bluetooth but there is no 'official' data cable available.
Contary to popular belief this phone is NOT simply built around the camera, the camera is one feature but is not the main reason to buy this phone.
The phone design is well thought out and very stylish, however it is rather bulky and can feel like a brick when in a pocket. Also the slide to reveal the numeric keys becomes loose with age and feels tacky.
Battery life is poor but can be expected as the phone uses an 8310 battery to power a 100mhz processor and colour screen.
I have had three 7650's in seven months, i.e. it has broken down twice (thankfully i have insurance with my mobile operator), this I find very poor as my previous phone (siemens sl45) lasted a whole year of abuse (it was dropped many times, was soaked by rain, and used every day for calls and txt messages). My 7650 has not sufferered any abuse at all and has never been dropped; I expect more reliability from a company such as Nokia.
The 4mb of built in mermory is too small to store all the data i would like to but is fine for a few pics and java games plus it can hold many thousands of phone book entries.

Overall, though, the 7650 is a fantastic piece of kit, it works well and is nice to use, the pics from the camera are bearable (just), and it has the most features of any phone on the market (bar the sonyericsson p800), it is also something unique; due to high prices many people are put off buying them and so this is a special and rare phone too!
