I am glad I am not the only one with these problems.

About 2 weeks ago, for a period of about 3 weeks, their service kept going down at about 8/8.30pm at night and often would not come back till the morning. Only at the end of this period did they acknowledge anything was wrong at all!

Now, having signed for their 2Mbps service, I find I have an average download speed of 300kbps. A BT engineer who was checking my line for problems said they "had heard of them" and that in my case they were for not delivering the advertised service. He also advised me never to go with ISP's who don't advertise a free technical support line/email.

The guys on their phone lines are quite polite and friendly but have clearly no idea what is going on "behind the scenes". The status reports on their website usually say "no problems" even when you can't get into them!

Having said that, I have seen the max download speed achieved from time to time, but the performance under heavy load is a poor.
