Good Points

The only good point about Swiftcover is the fact that they are cheap.


Bad Points

Don't pay fo what they said they would.


General Comments

Where do I start. I got Swiftcover cover as it covered missed departures, but when I tried to claim after being held up in motorway traffic for over three hours I was told that I could not claim, as I was not in an accident myself! I had to then pay over £300 for another flight.
They have unfortunately been consistently unhelpful, bordering on rude, and I would not recommend them. It is sad as they are very reasonable priced, but in my case there is a reason for it.

    Having just bought a policy from them myself I thought I'd better check the small print and they do make it clear that they won't pay out in circumstances such as yours.

    I took a look at one or two other big insurers to compare and none of them do either so it looks like you'd have been out of pocket no matter who you'd insured with.
