Good Points
Cost effective-KT-400 Chipset- Very stable and cheap memory is no problem for this board to handle. 4 USB 2.0 ports and 1 USB Header - Bios gives very good control of memory and overclocking.
Bad Points
On board sound, as with most boards that have this feature, leaves something to be desired.
General Comments
The installation of the matsonic MS814C motherboard is quite straight forward, the manual is probably as good as any you will find for a board in this price range. Some of the features which are not commonly used i.e. 6 port audio are not explained very well in the mainboard manual. The system came up perfectly the first time the power was turned on.
The only negative and it is a small issue, is the placement of the IDE connectors. They are closer to the edge of the board then on most other motherboards. This creates a minor interference problem with the drive support rack. The plus side is you will never have to worry about the IDE cables working their way loose.
