Wonderful image reproduction, even on 32" widescreen. 5.1/DTS via Digital Co-axial. Rock-solid operation and playback. Simple to use. Good remote.
Bad Points
Doesn't recognise cdr/cdrw/mp3. Only 1 scart socket.
General Comments
I'm surprised by the number of poor reviews of the Sony DVP-NS300 DVD player! I bought mine over two years ago and have had no problems whatsoever. It cost £150 and still consider it an absolute bargain. Image reproduction is superb (for the price) and the noise-reduction facility has three levels of intensity, depending on your personal preference. I would have liked another scart socket, but given the cost, this is only a minor problem.
