Good Points

Bad Points

Mounting rings are marginal and require decent scope stop (and blue locktight) to work reliably.


General Comments

Bought this 3-9 scope at walmart for about $30.00 intx. Wanted a cheap scope for my armadilla eraticator i.e. a Croman
800X 22 cal. rifle. Didn't expect much but as you can tell from my list of "Good Points' i've been pleasantly surprised.
The most important things you need to do to have a chance to realize the performance this scope offers is as follows:
1. Clean the scope rails with denatured alcohol (available at Walmart in Pharmacy section)
2. In most cases if not all you will have to shim the scope so you won't run too close to the vertical adjustment limits.
If you don't do this step properly the scope will probably not hold adjustment .
3.Clean all your scope rings thoroughly with denatured alcohol especially the mounting screws/hardware.
4. Use Blue Lock tight as per instructions(don't use too much!). Be sure to let L.T. cure for at least 24hrs. before shooting the weapon.
In closing let me say I have shot a lot of rounds using this scope before writing this review because I was skeptical a scope this cheap would work or stay together. With my example of this product my concerns where without merit.
I can certainly recommend this scope for your consideration. I hope this has been of some help to you in some way.
