Good Points

Great tasting coffee


Bad Points

Breaks down a lot, Gaggia after sales service is just awful, You will be without this machine one month in twelve!


General Comments

I have owned my Gaggia for over three years now. Actually, this is not entirely true; I had my first one replaced within 30 days as the power supply failed (not sure about this but it did trip out my fuse box when switching on so something definitely was very wrong with it). The second lasted just over two years but was returned for repairs about four or five times. It was finally replaced under the extended warranty I took out and I have now had my third one for around four months. So far so good but I don't think it will be too long before I have to return it again.

Don't recommend buying this machine!

Some pointers if you do buy this machine:

Keep the original packaging (you will need this for shipping back and forward to Gaggia)
Expect to send the machine back several times during its life.
Expect shocking service from Gaggia.
