General Comments

I've been using the Casio Exilim EX S2 camera for a couple of days and have to say it's great.

The resolution is fine for printing, the features are excellent, even though I work in IT, I would rate the ease of getting it working with Windows XP as easy enough for my Dad to do.

The negative points above would not stop me recommending this camera to anyone else. Cases aren't sold with it as Casio want to make money selling them as add-ons and their prices range from £19.99 to over £80. Since there is no case, they really should have provided a lens cap as the camera may get damaged easily (it's designed to fit in your pocket, and I'm sure your keys would easily wreck the lens!)

The digital zoom doesn't give fantastic results, but the "Best Shot" mode has some really nice features.

The recording of video is a nice little feature, and nice how it's in a format supported by Windows (some cameras give their output in MOV formats which requires extra downloads for friends without the viewer).

I believe that if you look around on the net you can pick one up for around £130

Overall a great camera to take snaps with.
