We have just returned from a five day break at Butlins Skegness and had a great time! The holiday only cost 350.00 for 4 adults and 1 child to stay in standard accommodation, half board. The entertainment was excellent. The red coats were fabulous! The Breakfasts were very generous and they had a huge choice!!!!
To be honest the standard accommodation was very standard, although it was clean and tidy. Because we went out of the peak season (September), our holiday was very cheap. A similar package in mid august would have been double the price, which, I think would have been too expensive. The evening meal was also very basic. The choice was limited, The potatoes undercooked, but the staff were very helpful.
The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. Our TV had a faulty volume button, and after reporting it at 8am, it was replaced within 1 hour!!! For the price, around 70.00 pound per person, half board, for 5 days, it was EXCELLENT value for money!! However, I feel that if we were to go in High Season (August), the price would be too expensive.
