I am starting to wonder whether there really are any bargains on this channel. Buyers please beware. I have bought a ring and a pendant from Gems TV and thought I had got a really good deal on both, until my friend had a yellow citrine silver pendant valued, as the channel always say you can do - a "gem" of a start price of £300 that she bought for £30 was valued as worthless by a jeweller saying that it was SYNTHETIC - and that was with a certificate of authenticity saying that it was a yellow citrine gem. She has bought several other items off this channel and is now questioning how authentic these stones she has been sent are too. It didn't help that when my friend came back from the jewellers with the valuation, and she called customer services at Gems TV that she was kept waiting for 15 minutes and when she was telling the operator how annoyed she was, the operator said they would have to investigate! Eventually the operator hung up on my friend, now that is good customer service.
