Reasonably cheap for an all in one phone fax and answer machine
Ink dries out quickly a fault with all ink jet printers, replacement cartridges are pricey at £20, paper feed is unreliable, ansaphone won't let you intercept incoming calls
I am usually a pretty canny buyer, but this one is a turkey and after less than 9 months I am now getting rid of it. If you only get only 1-2 faxes a month and the ink cartridge dries out over three months then you are not likely to get good value for money; it would not matter if cartridges were reasonably priced but even the reconditioned cartridges are quite expensive.
On top of this the paper feed is erratic and fussy about paper quality; the phone and answerphone are adequate though the volume options are limited and do not make the hands free facility worthwhile
Overall I have wasted 4-5 hours fiddling with this machine and at my hourly consultancy rate I would have been better off spending twice as much on a better machine
I will probably be replacing with a laser fax and separate phone answer phone that does not make compromises.
