General Comments

i have had 2 JVC TH-A5R systems and to be honest with you i would not take another one if you gave it to me for free. whwn i got the first one out the box and plugged it started to watch dvd and it cut out with in 20 mins and i burnt my finger on the top of it it was that hot, took it back and got another and after 6 months it has packed up again with the same problem and a few more, it keep sticking and then ejecting the discs out.

    Fair review - Mine's 20months old and has developed same fault

    My system is approx 16 months old and DVDs are cutting out after 28 mins! Also, following cut out the DVD carriage will not open, the remote control seems next to useless and the top of the system is too hot to touch for more than a couple of seconds. I paid 350 GBP for this system (and that was in a sale). To say I\'m disappointed is an understatement. I would certainly not recommend this or any other JVC product following this experience!
