This equipment was a truly over-investigated purchase on my part. I spent a long long time trawling up and down the internet pages of TV reviews to find a suitable replacement to my tired and now fizzled out TV.
This range has been the choice of many technology reviewing editors in magazines. Often recommended as part of a best buy advice and winning the best awards in its assigned category, mostly for flat screen on a budget style reviews.
The quality of the image is staggering compared to my older unit. This is due mainly to the increased screen display capability. The sharp image combined with what I think is a perfectly ample sound system for a small room makes viewing soap and summer blockbuster alike a real treat!
The addition of a specific game mode is a great thing for Xbox and Xbox 360 or PS3 users - A higher screen transition is possible in this mode which also allows for great quality on game screens, especially things like racers.
HDTV ready with an inbuilt Freeview/digital box means that there is no need for an additional box. The only recommendation I can make here is avoid using it with an analogue aerial, its just not worth the clicking and picture stutter. With a digital reception its very very good.
