General Comments

Purchased a set of these Creative Labs Inspire P580 5.1 speakers well over 2 years ago, and still going strong!

Fantastic sound quality, well built and they don't seem to look outdated compared to some speakers, they are easy to set up and when bought they cost £50, at the time that was good value for a set of 5.1 speakers, and still is today.

Don't know what I would have done without them, the Bass is really deep 'booming' noise, great for playing PC games, or even better for watching war films! (Be advised it does tend to annoy the neighbours).

The Speakers come with a wired remote, which connects into the back of the bass system, this allows you to alter the bass volume, and the speaker volume, it also allows you to connect a headphone jack, although sadly they haven't included a microphone jack, which to me was bit of a drawback.

The speakers seem work a lot better with deeper bass and clearer audio using a 5.1 creative sound card, compared to on-board 5.1 sound.

I think these are still for sale in a couple of places but since purchasing them a long time ago I have had no reason to upgrade, a well made product from a company I prefer for all my audio equipment! Creative.

Plus when I had a slight problem with a different creative product I sent it back to them with their consent and they replaced the item free of charge with no hassle (obviously under its warranty). What more can you ask for.

The only aspect that does bug me with these speakers, as stated in one review is that the cables for the rear speakers are a bit to short and could have done with being a lot longer, although a nifty feature is that they have the ability to be mounted using a creative stand or hung on the wall.
