General Comments

Bought these from richer sounds for £110 which is a bargain. They are massive!

These speakers come with what looks like a gloss black isolation plinth but this in reality is just a slab of MDF so wont do much isolating at all, it's just there for looks. The bass is great, nice and tight. Can be a little on the boomy side if placed too close to a wall but this is normally what happens with all speakers with backwards facing ports.

These were bought to replace a rather weedy sounding set of Mission M73i speakers on a Sony TA-370 amp and they outperformed the Missions all round. That was until the amp was replaced with a Cambridge audio 840 and the Missions started to outperform the TDL's. So by this experience these speakers may work well with other cheap budget amps.

Its just a shame there is no loading chamber so you can fine tune the bass to your liking, but for £110 you cant really expect buyers at this price to want nothing more than to wire them up and go.
