Bad Points
The kids room was small and wasn't up to much, the games didn't work and what was there wasn't age appropriate for younger children. The flag went up when the lifeguard was there but we never actually saw the lifeguard!!
General Comments
A bit in the middle of nowhere but a short bus journey takes you to the nearest shopping centre. The kids really enjoyed it, as did we. The staff there were really friendly. The man in charge of the entertainment over saw everything and encouraged the kids (and adults!) to join in. It was very quiet when we were there, which suited us fine as our first holiday abroad as a family. There were many excursions to choose from (the carnival was fantastic). The reps were very helpful - one even wrote a letter to my daughter from the tooth mouse when she lost her tooth there! The food was enjoyable. We had a problem with an exposed plug and on another occasion we couldn't get any hot water so my husband went and reported it and within an hour there was a maintainence man fixing it (within 10 minutes for the plug!). The apartments were cleaned regularly and the cleaners were really pleasant. The pool was cleaned daily. After seeing many programs such as 'holidays from hell' we were quite anxious about what we would find when we got there, but we were pleasantly surprised. We would happily return there - especially if we had the same apartment which had a great big patio area (yes it was on the top floor but the exercise was good!).
