Good Points

Big, clean apartment. Good self catering facilities.


Bad Points

Food was really the only slight bad point. The breakfast was ideal as you had plenty to choose from whether you wanted cereal, cooked breakfast, continental or toast and preserves. The lunch & dinner offerings seemed to be pretty much the same and usually consisted of some sort of fish(?), some sort of meat(?), some sort of pasta, and chips.

A very minor point but they could possibly do with a bit of shade around the pool areas, i.e. some umbrellas! People with very young children were struggling to get out of the midday sun without going back to their apartments, and obviously if you have an older child who wants to play and one young child who needs a sleep this is not ideal!


General Comments

We stayed at the Puerto Del Sol Aparthotel. Our apartment was big, clean and had all the facilities you would expect from a self catering apartment, including a fridge, microwave, hob and kettle. It was a real bonus to have these facilities when you are all-inclusive especially when you have children as you are able to store & prepare your own food if you find that they won't eat the offerings in the dining room!

The pool areas, of which there are 3, were well maintained and there were plenty of sunbeds to go around.

The kids entertainers did their best. They were only 2 young girls themselves and they worked hard to keep the kids busy day & night. In the evening there was a mini disco every night form 8.30-9.30 followed by bingo. This is not a resort for a lively singles holiday but if you want a relaxing couples or family holiday the resort of Cala d'Or is ideal with lots of little beaches, a lovely marina sporting the boats of the rich, & probably famous, and lots of good restaurants and bars.

The complex of Apartmentos Puerto Del Sol is a 3* complex and if you bear this in mind I think it was absolutely fine for a family holiday.
