Ease of use, bright image on screen and the size. It fits into a pocket like a small wallet. It has such an easy menu, that I actually use it. After a lifetime of using complex cameras with OK results, if you do not get first time good results with this camera... it is you that is the weak link.
Only in the brightest sunlight is the screen difficult to see. I have photographed my finger once!
Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T100 is the best camera I have ever used. No doubt more megapixels will come along but I fail to see the need. From the musical slideshow to the special effects to the ease of downloading. I am most impressed.
