Good Points

The ST is a reliable little car, pretty quick for its size, not a bad sounding stereo system, full leather quite comfortable.


Bad Points

Seat handles break easy, don't let ford do them front handles take about 30 seconds to do pull out push new 1 in, rear seat handles take about 20 mins 2 change. Fords charge about £60.00 for front handle fitted £12 in parts dept.
My throttle control unit burnt out after 21000 miles lucky under warranty. Remove centre wheel covers when being serviced as fords mechanics tend to damage them.


General Comments

Depreciation is quite bad on Ford Fiestas, as Fords offered me £7100 for mine recently for part ex.
If you need to change headlight bulbs you have to take headlights out.
If you get a squeak on rear drivers side it tends to be rubber holding handbrake cable I used plumbers silicone grease, sorted.
