The reliability is great on this gun. 3 of us use benellis and none of us have ever had a problem with these guns. They can be cleaned in less then 5 mins versus a lot of other guns. With the few parts that it has, putting them back together is a snap. I have a Beretta 391 extrema also. This gun will not fire after firing 10 rounds this weekend. I haven't taken it apart to see what failed.
The only thing wrong with the Benellis is that the parts are hard to get here in California. Can't find them at gun shows and gun dealers do not carry very many parts or extras. It seems like it takes for ever to receive the parts after you do order them from a store that carries or deal with the Benelli Corporation.
All the Benellis are great guns to own. In California, you will hardly ever see a used one for sale. If you do, it has been my experience that they get picked up quickly and that the price for them are nearly same as if you had bought it new. Benelli does a great job of marketing their guns and they do have great quality control.
