General Comments
I don't really know what to add to what the last reviewer said in their excellent review, so I'm really just here to defend what I think is a great little service.
There are so many people on here that are quick to slam Top Up TV Anytime, but they all have one thing in common, they are comparing it to digital TV services from SKY, Virgin media, BT and others. It is natural, but wrong that they should do so as TUTV Anytime is nothing like them at all, the other services are for people who want to watch a stupid amount of TV, while TUTV anytime is just meant to be a service for people that have Freeview but literally want to "TOP UP" their Freeview with some other stuff to watch if there's nothing on.
It does this well, and what a box to do it on too. The box works really well, and judging on its earlier reported problems must be due to software upgrades making it more stable. I read in a previous review on this site that someone didn't like the noise it makes... what?! I've heard complaints before but that is really laughable, it makes next to no noise what-so-ever, and the only time you can hear that is if you are quite near the box.
It is quite a new service too so I'm guessing, and kind of hoping, it will get better by offering more services, but even it doesn't I'm still content with it and being able to record programs that are on when I'm at work is great, as is the series link and being able to pause live TV.
