Main features seem attractive for elderly relatives - large keys and text only display (black on orange) and simple layout - the 5 number dialling emergency button offering some reassurance.
screen easy to read and large print.
Finish looked a bit cheaper than expected for the high price. Unfortunately my phone failed within 24 hours and did not appear to hold any charge at all after a full 8hr charging. On further attempts at charging the unit would mysteriously stall and charging ceased with the word 'stop' shown in the display. The vendors had not come across this before and so it is being returned hopefully for a working replacement. Not feeling very confident at leaving this in the hands of an elderly relative who would not easily recognise that the phone is faulty.
Will wait and see what the second unit is like but initial impressions are poor and already hassle at having to return it to vendors.
