Good Points

Light weight, mechanically reliable, fairly weatherproof

Bad Points

Might hit a barn wall IF it is shot from the inside of the barn. I normally plink with BB's. When shooting BB's from this weapon, you can see the BB leave the barrel at about a 20 deg. angle! I actually looked to see if there was something at the end of the baller that had not been ground away and / or cleaned up during manufacture! The reason for the extremely bad marks given in the value and overall ratings is because if one cannot hit anything with a gun, why would one exhort the qualities of the finish, or the blueing (or black paint) of the subject weapon?

General Comments

In fairness to my statements, I must say I have never shot .177 pellets from this gun. That said, because of the history associated with this gun, I would not throw it away, but that is the only reason that I still have it. It is actually a danger to someone standing beside the shooter
