General Comments

I purchased a pair of shoes for my daughter, as they did not fit I returned them (not worn) with stickers still on soles at earliest free time 13 days later. When explained to the salesperson at Barratts why I had returned them, she looked them over with a fine tooth comb.
To add insult to injury, I was told because they were not in a box, that they could not take them back. I explained I did not get a box when purchased, as I had said at time of purchase "I don't want the shoe box". I always do this, as I think about all the trees needed to make the shoes boxes, and it's better for the shoe shop to recycle the boxes. The sales assistant insisted that I would have been told at time of purchase that if I did not take the box it would affect my refund, but this was not the case. The customer after care service I received was terrible. I intend to pursue this refund and take it as far as I can, and I will never buy shoes from Barratts again.
