Looks nice. Sound quality was good.
The appalling thing was it broke and could not be fixed. As it was outside the 1 year warranty period, and despite very low usage, only 2 - 3 hours per week, Sharp accepted no responsibility for the poor performance. What happened was:
- the menu doesn't work
- the DAB auto-tune finds no stations
- when the radio is set to any FM station there is an extremely annoying cut-out every 20 seconds or so lasting approx. 0.2 seconds each time!
Clearly the chip had had catastrophic failure and its just a throw away. Over £100 and its been a horrible and worthless investment. Don't touch them!
It appears to have been an inferior product which had catastrophic failure.
Sharp accepted no responsibility as it was outside the warranty period. I won't touch Sharp again.
