Good sound quality and compact size.
Bad Points
Sonicstage is awful. On Windows XP Sony had eventually managed to get Sonicstage to work, but only just. It was stable and allowed you to transfer music although it was painfully slow. I have now upgraded to Vista and the latest version of Sonicstage simply crashes every time I use it. I have managed to get half of my music on the player - however this took all weekend between the software crashing. It now will crash 1 or 2 songs into uploading a CD. I have given up a bought something that works. It was such a frustrating experience I will never buy a Sony product again.
General Comments
Do not buy any Sony product that requires the use of Sonicstage. Sony have now removed the need to use the software on newer models so support for this appalling software will now be non-existent. What was wrong with simply clicking and dragging music onto the player?
