The inquiry was made in January of 2007 with American Express. It took them two months to investigate, and they could not do anything.
Then I was dealing with another person in your office, who would not return my phone calls(actually 11 of them) or reply to my e-mails (8 e-mails) for more than two months until I got to you. I will ask my secreatry to prepare the phone log and the e-mails for publication on this website.
And what difference it makes about who made the reservations?

What this individual has not revealed is that he made his purchase in September, 2006 with British Airways, then inquired about the charge in July, 2007 almost 10 months later. While we always aim to please every customer regardless of when the transaction took place, this trip was not booked by the traveller (who placed this post) but by his administrative assistant. The price differential he mentions is true, but only because they missed the advance purchase deadline and approved the higher fare.
It is also not mentioned that while there was a higher fare, this was for travel between San Francisco London in business class and the final price paid represented a savings of over $3,000 compared with the carriers selling price on the day the purchase was confirmed (6 days prior to travel)
