Daewoo 9000S5 Review

Good Points
True multiregion and plays straight from the box.
Remote control, batteries and scart lead included.

Bad Points
Has to be turned on and off at the main switch.

General Comments
The Daewoo 9000S5 DVD player plays over all TV stations, ie. when you switch the DVD player on you cannot watch another TV station as the DVD plays over all of them - this is good in one way because you can take it out of the box, plug it in, connect up the enclosed scart lead, switch it on and play a DVD without needing to tune it in.



Unfortunately, if you want to watch a TV station you will have to turn off the DVD player at the main switch.



The Daewoo 9000S5 plays any region DVD, also DVD-R, VCD, CD-R etc. It comes with a remote control, batteries and a scart lead. There is an A5 size comprehensive instruction book which you shouldn't need much as most things are self explanetary.



It has up to 32x forward & reverse zoom, slow motion, zoom, angle, A-B facility and most other things you would expect to pay a lot more money for. It also has an eject button on the remote. So at £59.99, it represents great value for money.



(Since buying one for myself, I have purchased another two for my parents and will be buying one for my brother at Christmas - it is that good)
