General Comments
The BSA spitfire is an excellent Air Rifle, astonishingly accurate, and with the BSA silencer extremely quiet.
The break barrel only needs to be pulled down a few inches to cock. The action is a precharge pneumatic and uses compressed air from a small 200cc buddy bottle. U screw the buddy bottle into the bottom of the gun, and using a guage built into the top of the gun u unscrew the bottle when the gun is full. U get 25-30 shots per squirt and a total of 110-120 per bottle.
The trigger is a straightforward single stage witha light release. the stock is basic but works well enough.
I bought this rifle new, used it for a year, it never failed once. It has since been in the happy service of its current owner for 2 years.
Overall excellent.
