Good Points

Beautiful to look at - beech makes normal black cabinets look shoddy and dated.


Bad Points

Crisper sound from top end would be a bonus.


General Comments

I bought these Eltax Concept 400 as a budget option as Mordaunt Shorts had popped their clogs. I didn't expect much, but was pleasantly surprised.

I have them hooked into a Yamaha AX amp - not renowned for its delicacy, more for its steel toecaps - and the bass is superb. If you don't listen to your music as much as you used to - get married and have a baby girl - then these are a great buy. Wait till Mrs and offspring are safely at the park and then give these a jolly good thrashing. Magic.
