General Comments
The BMW X5 is a performance vehicle that would be even better if the fit and finish was a little better. BMW service is sorely lacking. They are just swamped and it is not unusual to wait 6-8 weeks to get your vehicle in.
This is also a very expensive vehicle - $90,000+ with all the options. A lot of money to drive a performance vehicle. However if you like performance this is the way to go. I test drove an Acura MDX, Mercedes ML500 and GL450 and they just did not compare handling/performance-wise to the X5.
