Good Points

An old style real gun metal 1950's type,It's a well made air pistol by Crosman, except for the 2240,we will never see it's like again. It takes the 12 gram cartridge it's powerful in .22 cal which was more popular then,It surpassed the Benjaman which took the smaller size co2 which are rare. to find.

Bad Points

It's not made anymore

General Comments

I was lucky enough to find a new one from 1958 in it's original box with all the the paper work and instructions, offers ads etc. for twenty five dollars" Today it's at least $ 100.00 or more,I also traded for a very well used and rusty one that still shoots and does not leak.I guess I'm trying to relive my childhood all I need now is the Benjaman which was my first pellet gun. They are harder to find than the Crosman's.I found one in the UK but the shipping cost was over $ 200'00 plus cost of gun.So I'll keep on trying.
