Online access is appalling.
General Comments
Online access at Sainsbury's Bank Savings Account asks you different questions about your favourite place, singer, etc each time you login. Both myself and my wife cannot possibly remember these things so we both failed our login the first time we went online.
Then I failed phone identification, since I was asked things like my balance (how am I expected to know if I can't access the account?), so I now need to submit identity proof by mail)
The additional interest rate vs. ING Direct is just not worth it, life is too short for this!

I know what you mean. I hate sites that ask you stupid question to log in. T Mobile is the worst for me, they have a policy where you have to have a mix of numbers letter both small and capital as your log in. I can never remember it and the question they ask are case sensitive so although I know the answer to my questions although I can never remember if there is a capital letter at the beginning. It must be so much worse for you as you are trying to access an account and trying to get an upgrade.
