General Comments

It's been a long time since mom and dad bought me this Game Boy, but I borrow it sometimes from my brother and I still play it and I still like it.

The console is light and easy to carry. You can also find it in almost any possible colours you want.

In those days, there were loads of games available, but there was a weak point. They were very expensive. The price of a common game was around €40. But in nowadays, there is an alternative: eBay.

Although the screen is quite small, it's clear and easy to read.

Of-course, the console is old and that's also why it has a couple of weak points. The first and the main one is the batteries. I must admit, that the batteries have a long life, but you have to put AA batteries in the console. So first, you have to take two extras with you, if they die and second, it can be quite expensive, if you have to buy new AA batteries all the time, so I prefer (also AA) NiMH rechargeable ones. But that's not a problem for me any more, because I've had a Game Boy Advance SP for two years.
And one more thing: the power light is almost unusable, because it's turned on just a few minutes before the batteries die.

This console is a nice toy and it was also a nice toy for me, because I spent many hours in front of its screen having fun, but even today, surrounded by all sorts of video games, I still love to play it. And you'll ask: why?
Because its simple and uncomplicated.
